Ocotillo Wells Geothermal Update

First it is important to understand the ownership of the land within the Ocotillo Wells SVRA. The SVRA is composed of approximately 80k acres. Of that, 53k is owned by the California State Parks and the other 27k acres is owned by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) but is operated by the State Parks. Under this agreement, the BLM has retained the right to use its land in accordance with its rules and regulations, having the right to allow for the granting of leases for the development of geothermal wells and plants. Corral Canyon Update
